CBS News Interviews HCCS Students

What a whirlwind day we've had here at HCCS! Katie Couric and CBS News staff and camera crews just left after setting up and conducting interviews with two of our students, Lawrie and Isabel Zhang. The interviews are part of an extended segment on the recession, homelessness, and how it affects families. We pray that God's name is glorified and more families are aided by this piece.

The story will air this Monday, the 18th, at 5:30PM on the CBS News with Katie Couric. Other pieces that also focus on the recession's affect on families will follow on other days. Feel free to pass this on to anyone who might be interested. Praise the Lord!

Statement of Faith

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New testaments, to be the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in a triune Godhead of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He taught with authority as to how men should live. He died on the cross as sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures, arose bodily from the dead, and ascended unto God the Father, where He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
