Thank you Jose!

Jose Sanabria, our Kindergarten teacher, has taken a 1st grade position at Learn Charter School, near Adams & Sacramento, at one of their 8 schools. After praying about it and discussion with Rosie, he will be saying good-bye to Humboldt after 14 years and starting a new journey. We will miss you Jose, and your exuberance, creativity, excellent mastery of teaching social skills and class management, and more. We hope you and the other teacher will work well together in equipping the students academically, socially and even spiritually.  May God grant you his perfect wisdom, guidance and peace throughout this transition and the future.

New to You Anniversary

New to You will celebrate its 11th anniversary this summer. The store has supported Christian education at Daystar, Humboldt, Chicago Westside and Timothy during that time. A big key to the success of the store is volunteers. Now that this school year is rapidly drawing to a close, please consider spending some time volunteering at New to You this summer. You can either drop by and we'll find something for you to do, or call ahead (708-344-8477) to schedule a specific day and time. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

The interviews are part of an extended segment on the recession, homelessness, and how it affects families. We pray that God's name is glorified and more families are aided by this piece.
