"I am so happy to be able to be in partnership with the parents in their children's education. I have been at HCCS for 9 years and kindergarten teacher for 8 of those years. I am also the father of five children, all of whom attend or have attended HCCS. Not only am I a staff member, I am also a parent that believes in this school and in its high expectations in education. I also believe that faith in the Lord Jesus is the most important key to life and in the promise of Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Open communication is also something I feel strongly about because I believe that Together hand in hand we can make a difference."

The ABCs of HCCS

At Humboldt Community Christian School, our commitment is to the development of the whole child:

Academically

At Humboldt Community Christian School, we recognize that every student is unique, and that children learn in different ways. Our small class sizes encourage our students to work together to achieve academic excellence, but also think independently.

Biblically

HCCS is committed to helping students understand Christ’s teachings. We work to inspire faithful disciples of Christ who embody spiritual values, hold fast to biblical truths, and live out a commitment to God. We minister not only to our students, but also to their families, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.

Culturally

At HCCS, we embrace and celebrate cultural diversity as a reflection of God’s own creativity. We teach our students to have pride in themselves and respect for others in a multi-cultural society. We pray that this helps them to make a positive difference in this world, and to lead lives rooted in Christ.

Our Vision

We are dedicated to preparing godly leaders within our community who will be the “salt of the earth,” full of hope, excelling in their educational pursuits, fulfilling their call, serving and exemplifying the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul and mind.
